WELSH — The third time was a charm for the Welsh Greyhounds baseball team. After losing in the quarterfinals the last two seasons, the Hounds are headed to Sulphur for the LHSAA State Baseball Tournament. The No. 2 Hounds disposed of No. 7 Grand Lake by a final of 6-3 at Sportsman’s Park on Wednesday. The Hounds had only made one previous trip to the big dance in Sulphur, back in 2019.
