Lacassine High School celebrated Homecoming Friday night as the Cardinals hosted the Welsh Greyhounds, and the Lady Cards welcomed the St. Louis Lady Saints. In the boys’ game, Lacassine jumped out to a 30-16 lead in the first period and rolled on to an 87-59 win. In the girls’ game, the Lady Cardinals took a 31-24 halftime lead and went on to claim a 55-43 win over a feisty Lady Saints team.
