LAKE ARTHUR —─ An ordinance aimed at streamlining the building permit process received unanimous approval from the Lake Arthur Town Council this week.
According to Mayor Sampson “Poncho” LeJeune, the new ordinance will allow permits to be issued directly through the town of Lake Arthur rather than through the Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury in Jennings.
