POWWOW PRIDE

Over the weekend, hundreds of Native American dancers competed in the 29th annual Coushatta Powwow.

For the Grand Entry, a rhythmic march opened the competition where dancers dressed in full regalia claimed the grounds. In addition to dancers, native drum circles from tribes across the nation attended, playing traditional music for the competitors.
