Prospective candidates for local, parish and statewide offices will begin qualifying this week for the Nov. 3 primary election and, if necessary, the Dec. 12 general election.
Qualifying will be held Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 5-7, at the Jeff Davis Parish Clerk of Court’s Office, located at 300 North Main St. in Jennings. Candidates may qualify from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
