Board approves holiday pay incentives, sets hearing on grass-cutting fee increase

WELSH — Town employees here who are called out to work on recognized holidays will soon receive additional compensation after the Welsh Board of Aldermen approved changes to the town’s holiday pay policy during its recent meeting. Additionally, officials discussed setting a higher fee to cut noncompliant yards to encourage residents to maintain their properties.
