Mary Epperly passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at the age of 83. She was born in Roanoke and resided in LaPlace.
She was the beloved wife of the late James Riley Epperly, Jr.; oving mother of Dennis Epperly (Chantelle), Russell Epperly (Wendy), Todd Epperly (Allie) and Thomas Epperly (Cherakee); grandmother of Rusty (Morgan), Kevin (Krisann), T.J., Dustin, Breanna, Alysa (Robert), Layken and Bailey Epperly, Lauren Moeller (Coker) and Trinity Mince (Mandi); great-grandmother of Wylie, Charlie and Colbi Moeller, Aurora, Oaklyn, Felix, Miah and Ezra; daughter of the late Frances Troutman and Irma McMillan Troutman; sister of Fances Troutman McCarty and the late Roy, Kenneth, Donald, Leonard, Harold, David, Debbie Demarest and Carl Troutman; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at First Baptist Church of LaPlace, 120 Ormond Blvd., LaPlace, LA on Friday, August 14, 2026. Visitation will be held at the church from 4-6 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 6 p.m. The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11 a.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery, 501 Beaufort St., Welsh.
