Peggy Deaville was born on Jan. 9, 1959, in Jennings. She was a life resident of Jennings. Peggy wanted everyone to know how much she loved Jamie Bergeron and enjoyed watching him in concert. She was a woman who found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. She was a proud New Orleans Saints fan and especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, always loving to watch them participate in their extracurricular activities and cheering them on every step of the way. She treasured visiting her newfound friends at the Westminster Apartments and enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. Peggy was also the keeper of community stories, the one who remembered the people and the moments. Her warmth, laughter and stories will be deeply missed.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Shawntel Duhon (Byron) of Roanoke, Courtney Barbier (Jean-Paul) of Mermentau and Jayme LeJeune (Larry) of Roanoke; her eight grandchildren, Katelyn Duhon, Christian Barbier (Miranda), Ashlyn Duhon, Bayleigh LeJeune Carranza (Juan), Trinity Barbier, Alex Barbier, Collin LeJeune and Tanner LeJeune; her brothers, Edward Morvant (Marie), Elton Morvant, Jr. (Audrey); as well as the sister-of-herheart, Ann Pierce.
