Lovenia ‘Mo Tin’ Pattom-Thibodeaux

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lovenia Pattom-Thibodeaux, 73, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Welsh, with Rev. Jude Fernando officiating.

Visitation will be held in the church from 9 a.m. until time of services.

A Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. in the church.

Burial will be in Bon Pasteur Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.

Lovenia “Mo Tin” Pattom-Thibodeaux entered into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Lovenia was a native and lifelong resident of Welsh. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, pastored by Rev. Jude Fernando. She was a former member of St. Peter Claver Ladies Auxillary Ct. 48.

Lovenia worked for many years at Jennings Manufacturing Company and also Golden Age Nursing Home in the dietary department. She loved cooking and was known as the Boudin and Rice Dressing Queen.

Lovenia is survived by her children, Lucinda Pattum Viney, Artigus (Neketa) Viney, Alonzo Pattum, Rumaine (Precious) Thibodeaux, Lucretia (Jermaine) Thibodeaux and Tamorick Jackson; brother, George Pattum; sister, Elodie Goodwin; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five Godchildren.

Lovenia was preceded in death by her spouse, Willie Thibodeaux; son, Jermaine Keith Thibodeaux; parents, Sidney Pattom and Levenia Joseph; five sisters; and four brothers.
