Funeral services for Mr. Willie Dean Jones, Jr., 44, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in the Rosa W. and David J. Fondel Church Chapel, with Rev. Carl M. Fontenot, Sr., officiating.

Visitation will be held in the chapel from 8 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.

Mr. Jones entered into eternal rest Monday, July 2, 2018, at his residence.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. Willie was educated in the Jefferson Davis Parish School system and was a 1991 graduate of Jennings High School, where he played football, baseball and was a shot putter on the track and field team.

Willie was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Willie was formerly employed by the Bubba Oustalet dealership as a detailer. He was currently employed in the offshore industry with Moncla & Keys as a floorhand driller and toolpusher.

Willie was a member of the following baseball leagues: Po Up, Elite and Black Soxs.

Willie is survived by his mother, Joyce Marie Jones; nephew, Jermal L. Fitzgerald (Brittany) Jones; four greatnephews; uncles, Anthony Guidry and Herman Jones, Jr; and aunts, Rachel (Junius) Lyons and Neva (James) Jasper.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Dean Jones, Sr; brother, Randall Fitzgerald Jones; maternal grandparents, Nita Savoie Guidry and Ivan Joseph Guidry; paternal grandparents, Edith Mae Jones and Herman Jones, Sr; and Godmother, Nellie Lee Berry.
