In 1959, he married the love of his life, Bettye Jacko, and to this union one child was born.
Clarence began his career as a veterinarian assistant at Welsh Veterinarian Hospital until being hired at ExxonMobil where he worked until his retirement in 1989. He then enjoyed 36 years of traveling and spending quality time with the love of his life.
