JENNINGS — Alex Chaisson Jr., 85, of Welsh, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Alex was born on May 3, 1938 in Pine Island.
JENNINGS — Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Marie Bertrand Williams, 82, of Jennings, will be held on Monday, July 17, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with Pastor Kyle Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery in Lacassine under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
JENNINGS — A celebration of life for Lucille Dugas Jackson will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Conference Center in Welsh.

JENNINGS — Cheryl Randolph Davis, 66, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2023. Cheryl was born in Lafayette, LA on May 31, 1957, and was the daughter of Joseph Randolph, Sr., and Grace Dugas Randolph. Cheryl worked as a Cook for Jeff Davis School Board at Lake Arthur High School. She was a faithful parishioner of Union Baptist. She loved to cook and bake, as well as shop. During the holidays, she was always involved in baking for holiday events. Cheryl’s family was her everything. She loved her children and grandchildren, and she loved to laugh and live life to the fullest. Above all, she was a kind, loving woman and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
