The family and friends of Deanna Cinquemano are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Jan. 12, 2022, at the young age of 54.

WHARTON, Texas — Avia Ann Daigle passed into the arms of the Lord on her 79th birthday, Jan. 11, 2022. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation today, Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, after 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in East Bernard. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., with her funeral Mass to begin at 11 a.m.

A gathering of family and friends to honor the life of Donald Luke Broussard will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, beginning at 9:30 a.m. A Rosary, recited by Stephanie and Charles Breaux, will be held at 10 a.m., with graveside services to immediately follow in Hanks Cemetery.

Mr. Robert Lee “Bobby” Cooper, 51, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, in Lafayette following a brief illness. His family has honored his wishes of cremation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews and Son Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m.Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at the residence of his brother, Billy Cooper, located at 19584 Monnic Drive in Jennings.

WELSH — Rolland James McCown, 90, of Welsh, died peacefully at Cornerstone Hospital on Jan. 8, 2022.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Mrs. Lucille Johnson Matthews, 81, of Welsh at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh, with Father Pradeep Gali of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating.

Mrs. Vivian Griffith Fontenot, 101, of Jennings passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2021, in Jennings.
