District track meets held around parish

Local schools participated in district track meets this week around the parish. Many athletes were able to qualify for regional meets held next week around the state. Top qualifiers in the regional competitions will advance to the state track meet to be held on the campus of Louisiana State University at Bernie Moore Stadium.
