Much has been said about the Lake Arthur-Ferriday football game last Friday night that ended early due to a fight among the players from both teams. The LHSAA ruled both teams must forfeit and that allowed Welsh to advance past the regional round with a bye and move on to the quarterfinals against the winner of the Haynesville-Montgomery contest this coming Friday night.
