Venable, Johnson earn All-State softball honors

Jennings High School first baseman Emma Venable and Welsh High School catcher Maggie Johnson were recently named to the LSCA All-State Softball Teams by coaches around the state. Venable helped the Lady Dogs reach the quarterfinals of the Division II state playoffs, while Johnson helped her Lady Hounds reach the regional round of the Division IV playoffs.
