CROWLEY–TheCrowley Millers started their season with a pair of victories on Wednesday and Thursday to open the year 2-0. The Millers defeated Beau Chene 9-8 in the opener on Wednesday, then came back Thursday and defeated Carencro 15-5 in their second contest. CROWLEY — The Crowley Millers opened their season Wednesday night with a host of Jeff Davis Parish kids on the roster. Former Bulldogs Lane Kratzer and Seth Benoit return for another year for the Millers, while current Bulldogs John Mason Futch and Tyler Daigle suited up in the navy and red for the first time. Former Lacassine pitcher Jace Bageux is also on the Miller roster for the first time. Iota’s Zeke Wall will also join the Millers for the 2023 summer season.
