PLAQUEMINE — The Jennings High Lady Bulldogs traveled to PlaqueminefortheDivision II Bi-District contest against Plaquemine Senior High Lady Green Devils Thursday night. The No. 22 Lady Dogs were not favored to win against the No. 11 Lady Devils, however they showed why they should not be underestimated. The intense play by play game had the gym reeling as the Lady Bulldogs matched the Lady Devils nearly point to point for the entire game and pulled off a nine-point win in overtime with a final score of 51-42.
LAKE ARTHUR — As the first round of playoffs kicked off Thursday night, the Lake Arthur High Lady Tigers were the only Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) team to have the home court advantage as they hosted the Grand Lake High Lady Hornets in “Nooky” Moore Gymnasium.
