WELSH — The Welsh Greyhounds are coming off of a 73-14 pounding of the Pickering Red Devils, which improved their record to a perfect 3-0. The Greyhound offense set a stadium record by scoring 52 points in the first quarter against the Red Devils.

Elton travels to battle Merryville Friday night

The Jennings Lady Bulldogs swept past the LCCP Lady Trailblazers in both junior varsity and varsity action on Tuesday afternoon in Lake Charles. The Lady Dogs were scheduled to head back to Lake Charles Wednesday to face the Washington-Marion Chargin’ Indians, before returnbing home tiday to face the Northside Christian Lady Warriors at Gaudet Gymnasium. Junior varsity action today kicks off at 5pm, while the varsity Lady Dogs will get underway at 6 p.m.

Welsh stays unbeaten with 73-14 win

LAKE ARTHUR – The Delcambre Panthers came into Jack Doland Stadium last Friday night and used a big rally late in the second half to claim a 42-12 win over the Lake Arthur Tigers. The Panthers rolled up 440 yards of total offense on the night, including 316 coming from running back Jaxon Wiggins alone. The back carried the rock 18 times for his 316 stripes to lead the contest.
