ELTON — Most standout athletes started playing sports from an early age, perfecting their abilities throughout the years. Such is the case for three Elton High School (EHS) seniors, Tre Bellow, DaMarcus Jack and Jadon Ross. These three athletes bring another interesting facet to the equation — they are family. The trio of cousins have played AAU basketball together since the fifth grade and little dribblers together since they were six years old. Throw in another three seasons of high school football, and almost every sporting event in Elton seems like a family reunion. Sitting down together, the three proved not only are they family, they are very close friends also. This is evident when each discusses the other’s role on the court.
