Jennings falls to Oberlin
OBERLIN — The Jennings boys’ basketball team traveled to play the Class 1A Oberlin Tigers on Monday night. Turnovers hampered the Dogs in the first half as the Tigers doubled up on the Dogs for a 34-17 halftime lead. In the second half, more turnovers enabled the Tigers to outscore the Dogs 32-25, giving Oberlin a 66-42 win. In the first half, Oberlin outscored Jennings 16-7. Scoring for Jennings was Jeredyn LeGros with a trey and two points from both Graham Deese and Raecyn Levi. Oberlin was led by Navarre Williams with seven, Kole Sonnier with a trey and two from Jaylon Bokemeye r , Frank Thomas and Jordan Colton.
