She was born Sept. 30, 1945 to parents Sandrus and Allie (Trahan) Richard in Jennings. She married the love of her life, Donald, on May 28, 1966. Together they lived in Pine Island.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday at Miguez Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time to depart from church at 1:45 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
