Water is Louisiana’s most abundant resource, with more than 40,000 linear miles of rivers, streams and bayous and 400 miles of coastline, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

Jeff Davis District Attorney candidate Lauren Heinen was the guest speaker at the Tuesday, Feb. 1 meeting of the Jennings Rotary Club. She shared her personal, educational and professional backgrounds, as well as her qualifications for the office she is seeking.
