The Jeff Davis Parish Chamber of Commerce recently announced ribbon cuttings for (above) KOA in Iowa and (below) Boutique Elise in Jennings.

Carol Mack, longtime resident of Jennings, visited Florida recently and was proud to meet her great great-granddaughter, Evelynn, for the first time.

Submitted photos The Rotary Club of Welsh met on Feb. 6 and the pledge was led by fifth graders Zayne Johnson, Tevin Meche and Trevor Miller. The guest speaker was Judge Sharon Wilson who was accompanied by her husband Kerrel. She spoke of her passion for the law and is a candidate for the third circuit court of appeal.
