LAKE ARTHUR — The annual Lake Arthur Easter celebration is back featuring food, train rides, pictures with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt for children zero to 10 years old. The Town of Lake Arthur Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Palm Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. on April 13, at Lake Arthur Park.

Every year, LSU AgCenter horticulturists select four plants to add to the Louisiana Super Plant program. Plants don’t come by this designation easily. They must prove they can be beautiful and tough in the face of Louisiana’s challenging growing conditions.
