LACASSINE — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed construction of a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 90 and La. 101 in Lacassine.
The 43rd annual End of Season Stearman’s and Taildraggers Fly-in event allowed area residents to enjoy the great showing of WWII Stearman training planes, along with many other types of planes, such as the SNJ-5 North American T6 Advanced Trainer. Kids and adults were able to get close and see what flying one of the historic planes might be like.
The community is invited to keep the party going for the next installment of the free concert series Turn It Up Tuesday.
