ELTON — Due to unforeseen circumstances, the monthly council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, has been moved to Wednesday, July 10. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the council room at Elton Town Hall, located at 1302 Main St.

The Ancillary Committee for Southwest Louisiana Veteran’s Home and Cemetery will be holding their 3rd Annual Warriors Jambalaya Cook-Off, Craft Show, Car Show and Music event, Saturday, September 14 at 9 a.m. at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home.
The Jeff Davis Republican Women would like to invite patriotic women to join them in working to bring greatness to the country.
