The Jennings Police Department (JPD) responded to a call that led to the arrest of a Jennings man for domestic abuse.
Jeff Davis Arts Council (JADC), in conjunction with the Zigler Art Museum (ZAM) and Jeff Davis Arts and Technology Center, will be holding an opportunity for local families to enjoy a holiday-themed event this week. Ahead of the upcoming holiday, JDAC is holding its annual Christmas ornament event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from now until Friday, Dec. 22 at the Arts and Technology Center, located at 137 North Main St. This activity is free and each participant will have the opportunity to create two Christmas ornaments. It allows children to assist with decorating the center and have a keepsake to decorate at home, according to ZAM employee Jannie Crochet.
