Lake Arthur pulls consecutive wins
LAKE ARTHUR — The No. 6 seed Lake Arthur High Lady Tigers hosted the No. 22 seed Homer High Lady Pelicans Monday night at Nookie Moore Gymnasium. The Lady Tigers claimed the Division IV Regional title after an impressive 37-point win over the Lady Pelicans, with a final score of 66-29. The win secures their spot in the 2026 LHSAA Girls’ Marsh Madness quarterfinals round.
Sawyer smashes season, signs with LA Tech
LAKE ARTHUR — The No. 6 Lake Arthur Lady Tigers hosted No. 27 Oberlin Lady Tigers in the first round of the Division IV playoffs Thursday night in Nookie Moore Gym, winning the game with an impressive final score of 62-21. Lake Arthur led 23-0 in the first period before Oberlin scored at the 2:40 mark. In the second period, a trey by Ella Istre would give Lake Arthur a 45-10 lead at the 2:30 mark, and the game would be played with a running clock. In the second half, Lake Arthur would outscore Oberlin 13-11 to take the win.

The Lake Arthur High Tigers hosted the Delcambre High Panthers for a battle on the diamond during their first home game of the season. The Tigers fought hard and pulled off a 9-4 win over the Panthers.
