BATON ROUGE (AP) — Aalyah Del Rosario has 27 points and 10 rebounds and Angel Reese added 21 points and 10 boards as No. 7 LSU set school records for points in a game and margin of victory in a 133-44 rout of McNeese State on Tuesday night.

The Jennings Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs swept through a pair of nond istrict conte s t s Monday night by toppling 5A Sam Houston at Gaudet Gymnasium. The Lady Dogs blew past the Lady Broncos by a final of 46-16, while the Dogs hung on for a close win by a final of 66-61. The Lady Dogs improved to 7-4 overall with the win, while the Bulldogs improved to 5-2 overall.

LAKE ARTHUR — The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers took down the Jennings Lady Bulldogs in a Jeff Davis Parish showdown at the Lake Arthur Lady Tiger Invitational Thursday night by a final of 60-53. The game was a backand- forth affair that saw both teams put up big numbers on both ends of the floor. The Lady Tigers were led by Vivian Sketoe’s big night, as she poured in 25 points in the win. Jennings had four players hit double figures in the contest, as Niyah Breaux tossed in 18 and eighth-grader Molli Jane Thibodeaux also popped in 15 for the Lady Dogs.

Jennings moves to 3-0 with the win

LAKE ARTHUR — The Hathaway High Lady Hornets met with the Lafayette High Lady Lions Wednesday night in the 2023 Lake Arthur Lady Tiger Invitational to wrap up the first night of the tournament. The Lady Hornets secured the 15-point win over the Lady Lions with a final score of 65-50.
