After the unveiling, the Laying of the Wreaths was performed by Jennings Garden Club Vice President Colette Reed and fourth grade student Avery Lewis. Lewis is considered an honorary member of the Garden Club and has been pulling weeds, handing out flyers and attending meetings since she was two years old.
