The Town of Elton recently competed in the Louisiana Garden Club Federation(LGCF) Cleanest City Contest.
Members representing LGCF toured Elton to judge the cleanliness and beauty of the town. Mayor Kesia Lemoine said the town received a score of 90 from LGCF judges. Elton will move to the next round of judging on the state level which will take place on Thursday, April 27.
