Lake Arthur mayor Sherry Crochet and library branch manager Deanna Lemaire recently signed a proclamation declaring April 7-13 as National Library Week. The theme is Libraries=Strong Communities. The Lake Arthur Library will hold an Open House on Tuesday, April 16, from 10a.m. until 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend an explore all that the library has to offer.
