Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office recently hosted the first-ever Special Olympic Torch Run in the parish during Police Week. JDSO deputies, along with officers from other agencies, Special Olympic athletes and Attorney Daniel Sparks, participated in the run.
The torch run started at the JDSO Administrative Office on U.S. 90 West and finished at the Jeff Davis Parish Courthouse on State Street.
