Fontenots Named June Family of the Month
During the July meeting of Knights of Columbus (KC) Council 2012 from Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) parish in Jennings, the family of Michael and Erin Fontenot was recognized as the Council’s June 2022 Family of the Month.
July Gardens of the Month Announced
Jennings Garden Club recently announced the Garden of the Month winners for July.
KC Members Serve Local Veterans
On Friday, July 1, members of the Msgr. Joseph Peeters Assembly 332 barbecued and served hamburgers and hot dogs at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home for veterans and their caretakers. KC’s Melward J. Doucet, Jr. (from left), Gene Salassi, Rod McCown, Phil Hebert, Adrain Louviere, Tommy Dennis, Russell Touchet and Frank Angelle were all on hand to help prepare and serve the veterans.
KC Officers Attend Installation
On Sunday afternoon on June 26, several newly-elected officers of the Msgr. Joseph Peeters Assembly 332 of the Knights of Columbus traveled to St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Lake Charles for the installation by District Master Kell Luke and District Marshall and new Faithful Navigator of the Assembly Mark Fanguy.
