Jones (left), and National Security Commission Chairman Johnny Square (second from right) presented the 2019-2020 Department of Louisiana Firefighter of the Year Award to Coty Courville (second from left) from the Jennings Fire Department. Courville was nominated for the Award by Post 19 from Jennings and by the Department of Louisiana 7th District. The Department of Louisiana did not have a State Convention last year because of the COVID pandemic, so this award from last year was presented at this year’s state convention.
