October blood drives set
LifeShare Blood Center’s mobile blood bank will be in Jeff Davis Parish throughout October in order to replenish the blood supply for residents in need of the vital resource.
Cattlemen’s Association donates to parish FFA chapters
The Jeff Davis Parish Cattlemen’s Association recently made a $4,500 donation to the Jeff Davis Parish School Board to share between the six Future Farmers of America chapters in the parish. Each high school group will receive $750. This is an annual donation from the association to support parish youth in agriculture.
