The city of Jennings is moving forward with plans to replace all of its 4,000-plus standard water meters with electronic devices over three phases. Elton officials are also considering switching to electronic meters. While this has not been discussed in any official capacity, it is possible that Lake Arthur, Welsh and Fenton could end up having the same discussion too.
