Local firefighters responded to an early morning fire that destroyed a home Wednesday.
At 7:52 a.m. Wednesday, Jennings Fire Department (JFD), with the help of District 2, responded to an alarm for a structural fire, located at 1603 Barbara Ann Lane in Jennings.
Jennings Fire Chief Ashley Navarre said the owner of the house, Steven Gotreaux, was not home at the time of the fire.
