U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-La.) recently announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency will award Jeff Davis Electric Co-op over $15 million for damages received during Hurricane Laura in 2020.
“When a hurricane hits, electric companies and linemen are some of the first to respond,” Cassidy said. “This funding will help Southwest Louisiana communities as they continue to rebuild.”
