ELTON — Due to a leak on Mayor Marcantel Street earlier this week, the south side of U.S. 190, including First, Second and Lezina streets are under a boil advisory until further notice.
According to Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), a boil advisory must be issued after any event resulting in loss of pressure in a part of or throughout the distribution system of a municipality’s water supply.
