Members of the James O. Hall Post 19 of the American Legion will hold its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14. The event will take place at the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home, located at 1610 Evangeline Rd. in Jennings, on the back patio.
After a brief ceremony, American Legion members will respectfully destroy several worn and faded flags by burning them.
