LANGSTON, Okla. — The Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents announced the appointment of Jennings native Dr. Ruth Ray Jackson as the seventeenth president of Langston University.
Jackson was named interim president in July 2023. Board Chair Joe Hall said he believes Jackson’s commitment to the university made her the best candidate for the permanent position.
