LAKE ARTHUR — The board of aldermen held a public hearing concerning the proposed issuance of up to $1,250,257 in Taxable Utilities Revenue Bonds during its recent meeting. Mayor Sampson 'Poncho' Lejeune opened the floor for any questions or comments about the current bond matters.
The Revenue Bonds would facilitate improvements to the Lake Arthur sewer plant that is in dire need of upgrades.
