Lake Arthur — Mayor Sampson “Poncho” Lejeune recently announced the town will receive a $2 million grant from the state to fix many old water lines throughout the town.
Gov. Jeff Landry sent a letter congratulating the town on being selected for the revitalizing grant funds and Lejeune made the announcement at the recent town meeting.
