A highly anticipated parish-wide animal shelter will now be moving into the construction phase following the Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury’s unanimous approval of the low bid on the project.
The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury approved Trahan Construction LLC’s bid in the amount of $1,958,000 for construction of the shelter and purchase of a generator for $107,000.
