The parish will soon benefit from two new economic development districts following a recent unanimous vote by Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury.
Jurors accepted the new terms for special taxing districts in Economic Development District No. 1, which is located in the Iowa and Lacassine areas, and Economic Development District No., which includes parcels of land in the Roanoke area.
