A group of parish residents who discovered a passion for learning more about family history is hosting a special gathering this weekend.
The Genealogical Society of Jennings is inviting the public to a free event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at First Baptist Church of Jennings Family Life Center, located at 1001 North Cary Ave. in Jennings.
