A local teen passed away late last week after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Sept. 20, Louisiana State Police Troop D began investigating a twovehicle fatal crash involving a bicycle on U.S. 90 near La. 1126 near Jennings. The crash claimed the life of 19-year-old Kaleb Istre of Jennings, according to Trooper First Class Matt Gaspard.
