WELSH — Town officials here will have a paise raise in the new year after the Board of Aldermen approved an increase in pay.
Mayor Karl Arceneaux and the five aldermen elected in the fall will see an increase in their salaries in January 2025. The increase will raise the board’s pay from $300 to $400 a month and the mayor’s from $1,500 to $2,300 a month.
